A Bit About Me
My name is Maxwell "Maxx" Giffen and I grew up on a farm in Minesing, ON. My photography journey started when I was a little kid taking photos of frogs and bees in the garden and has now developed into a full-time business. I love being able to capture moments and memories that my clients will cherish for a lifetime.
My Style
My photography style is warm, bright, and natural. I enjoy making people feel comfortable in front of the camera so I can capture their true selves and provide a fun experience.

I'M A TWIN
I am one minute younger than my fraternal twin brother and we are complete opposites both physically and personality wise. We do not possess a psychic link or special twin powers but we do get a long very well!

I'M A BIRDER
What's a birder? It's someone who takes bird watching too seriously. I knew absolutely nothing about birding prior to 2020 but when the pandemic hit I was unable to take photos of humans so I turned to taking photos of animals. Since then I have seen over 330 species of birds in Ontario.

I WANTED TO BE A TEACHER
I was enrolled in Nipissing University's Concurrent Education program to become an elementary school teacher but just completed the BA portion. Now instead of being in a classroom with a group of 25 kids every day, I get to work with hundreds of families every year.

I LOVE MUSICAL THEATRE
As well as going to school to become a teacher, I also received a diploma in Theatre Arts at Canadore College. I have done absolutely nothing with this, but I usually see several Mirvish Productions a year and love to sing.
